About Argyll



Based in Western Australia, Argyll was formed in 1987 by David Cox to meet the requirements of prestige automobile enthusiasts,  Argyll quickly grew by word of mouth into the divers automobile service center it is today.

David began learning his craft in Scotland in 1961 while helping prepare the Jaguar Ecuria Ecosse team for the Le Mans 24 hour race in France. His expertise and knowledge of automobiles led him around the world to Canada and the United States before settling in Western Australia and opening the Argyll umbrella of business which, besides Classic Vehicle Restoration, also incorporates Limousine Hire and Event Organisation.

Offering a range of services for all vehicle makes and models David and the Argyll restoration team carefully consider each client’s dreams and budgets while carrying out quality workmanship to their own high standard.

Over the years Argyll’s fine workmanship has generated many victories in a number of prestigious West Australian Car Club events for both their own cars and their clients, including the Combined Car Club Concours at Whitman Park  – Best Modern Classic 95-96-97, the Jaguar Car Club of Western Australia’s Premier Class 1999, and many road class victories including a Jaguar National Champion in 1998.
